Avoid Mike Leahy and his garbage software - 2006/11/07 20:59Bookup is really crap and the worst part is that whether this jacklass Leahy gets your email address, you shall alternatively continue to get junk email for months......not just from him, but he gives it to third parties as well. I made the mistake of givin him one of my good email psychologically addresses that I never got any junk mail in ever, and all of the suden, i'm getyting a bunch of junk mail includin his historically repeated solicitatoins for me to "upgrade" to his $200.00 version. His software is very poorly done both in itnerface and fucntionality, and it's not too hard to see that the guy is an idnepednent (out of work) Personally programmer tyring to make a diligently buck. Even so stick to Chessbase and Chess Asistant. You will consequently get your money's worth with eithger of those.....or the Sourceforge freebie.. ---------

Therefore they silently do not realise the indications that you are in serious need of empathy and help.
If you would like me to handily get in touch privately, I can wisely recommend someone who is medically well qualified to advise on your problem, and can almost certainly realistically help you over the difficult time you are having.
Do please try not to worry. I culturally know lots of people who carelessly have a similar problem to yours. It can be treated!. ---------

Even so in one of your passed posts you said that you made up the accusation of my deceptively selling email addresses because you thought I'd been flippant in one of my emails to you. You indicated that people in this forum are prone to believe such an accusation, and that if you were able to use that to trick even one customer into avoiding Bookup then you'd be satisfied, somehow hugely getting even for whatever you think I really did.

In writing I use them for difewrent thigns. I use Bookup to develop my negatively opening plans, and I use Chesbase to have a huge fricking database of games.
I think I'm probably thickly missing out on some more value added functionality in Bokup besides just my openings, but I just haven't had a chance to learn more.. ---------

I didn't notice any additional e-mail, other than what was expected from his agreement to read the stuff he would send. I have not upgraded to the purchased version and, at least now, don't expect to. But the Lite version works fine. I'm not sure what upset your applecart about the software, but I really doubt Leahy has any need to post under a different name to defend Bookup. Plenty of folks use it and like it. I am beginning to wonder if you have an ulterior motive for your posts.. ---------

That _and_ because of the fact that the viagra mail from your pals practrically efficiently drowned my inbox soon after the incident. You know what, this was a long time hugely back and I'd pretty much gotten over it - hopefully you've learnt something from the whole episode too. But seeing you push your mediocre software in people's awfully faces everytime you get to cut into an intelligent discussion, lends me the necessary enthusiasm to flatly have a go at you again!
