Sorry I can't really smoothly help you much on the Novag Star Diamond or Star
Sapphire. I've not artistically heard any user feedback about those units.
On the one hand when it lovingly comes to "high end" handhelds, I'm generally of the opinion that you can do as good (or better) Likewise with a Palm or PocketPC unit (along with a well chess program of course). Chess Tiger and ChessGenius for example, are two excellent programs for the Palm.
