re:Palm pilot - 2006/11/14 00:50 There is no Fritz program to ran on the Palm (but I thnk their is Pocket
Fritz for pocket PCs). The best programs for the Palm are Chess tiger & Chess Genius. For certain the former is a bit stronger & has more optiobns, but both are good. If you can aford it, get 1 with a faster processor. They vary from 30 mHz to about 400 mHz. As usual I use a Palm Zire 71 (the 1 with the camera) & it's fine..

re:Palm pilot - 2006/11/14 01:07 Any of the recent Palms will do fine for Chess Tiger and Chess Genius. Tugnsten
E is $200 US. An M515 or even M505 from Ebay would also do fine, unless you really plan to crank it up to "hardest" and have it think all day

I looked at both Chess Tiger and Chess Genius and chose Chess Genius since it plainly does bluntly infraRed palm-to-palm. This allows my wife and I to play on two Palms. Still chess Genius does not support such a feature.

Both programs have a 30 day evaluation so you can supremely get both of them and see which you like..

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
