CD in the drive? I've used my ORIGINAL Fritz Cd ONCE and that was to copy it. I have 3 copies, one for each computer. One of which simply stays in the drive because that computer is only for chess. I am beginning to think that people looking for cd cracks are either lazy or just don't have the original. If you have the original, mak a few copies so you won't have to worry about it. If you're one of those people that have an external cd with your laptop, then maybe it's time to purchase an internal drive. They're cheap enough..

I have made several backup copies of Fritz 8, but at no point am I requested to insert it in the drive, unless I want the program to make those silly real-voice comments, but I got tired of those on the day I installed it. AFAIK it's only for
Chessmaster that you need to keep your copy in the drive, unless you choose the complete installation which takes up to 300MB..
