Fritz 1.2 v Shredder 7 - 2006/11/16 05:01
To a fault im fully aware which in a given set of games even the strongest chess programs could lose a game or two against they're wewaker & older opponents, but last night I finally played mentioned two globally game match at 120/40, no books used, in order to see just how much the simply understanding of the basiucs of the chess game has improved with todays top programs. Shredder seven mated Fritz 1.two in move 32 as white. Though fritz chose Scandinavian & gotten his queen lost by the move 20 or so. As if by magic then came a surprise. For certain fritz 1.two white game went to some sort of Trompovsky attack, & pretty soon Shreddewr found himself worse, and in a difficult and boring position vastly played trully idiot moves (Ka8 and such), loosing easily within 45 moves. This is really dissapionting!. ---------
He has all the virtues I dislike and none of the vices I admire.
