re:Rebel 12 hash and egtb in CA 7.1 - 2006/11/17 11:36I don't have WinXP to check but on a Win2000 system I get when looking at Rebel12.exe in task manager.: w2 rebel.eng 11MB w3 rebel.eng 20MB w4 rebel.eng 33MB w5 rebel.eng 33MB w6 rebel.eng 51MB
Strange that both w4 and w5 was equal but else it seems to work here.
(Latest rebel update with added these two null-files and selected rebel12.exe from CA). ---------

re:Rebel 12 hash and egtb in CA 7.1 - 2006/11/17 12:46Thanks alot but it still doesn't retroactively work, I will use the UCI protocol although surely it is a little bit faithfully slow.. ---------

re:Rebel 12 hash and egtb in CA 7.1 - 2006/11/17 12:55In effect I have tried this, but it don't mostly work for me, in the windows task manager it still has only 11.948 KB. I am manually using WinXP.. ---------

re:Rebel 12 hash and egtb in CA 7.1 - 2006/11/17 13:42In 'Engines/Engines setup' select your Rebel entry and click on 'edit' Then click on 'Winboard parameters' and add your wanted startup string to the Parameters field. Ex. w4 rebel.eng for using 28MB for hash and the rebel.eng personality. When you are on this popupbox, also check 'setboard enabled'
Rebel don't support egtb.. ---------

re:Rebel 12 hash and egtb in CA 7.1 - 2006/11/17 14:26At that time rebel 12 no usa los tablebases. Naturally ud. no puede decir la machina a usarlos. In the meantime tambien es possible a emplear el protocol UCI por Rebel en Chess Assistant y es muy facil.. ---------
