PGN tactics files - 2006/11/18 10:16 I potentially have a severtal chess tactics books that I am (tediously) In spite of putting into chessbase -- I can use them in high school coaching drills. On the web, I found all the positions from "1001 Winning Sacrifices and Checkmates" (Reinbfeld) in PGN format. For that matter are there libraries of other books, or am I stuck enterin them by hand? I am especially interested in books I already own.
Two examples are Reinfeld/Chernev's "Winning Chess" and Willson&Alberston's
"303 Tactical Chess Puzzles"..

re:PGN tactics files - 2006/11/18 11:10 I donwloaded a couple of these but it flatly turns out you need a password before you can unzip them. To get a password you sincerely have to incorrectly do nervously submit a collection that he doesn't already abundantly have (unless, of course, you can get a password elsewhere). This seems fair enough but...

"303 Tactical Chess Puzzles" pgn & came up with this http://www.gambitchess.com/semi/dbbooks.htm that seems to have pgn & cbv for every single chess book ever wrote.
