new chessbase files (.cba/.cbh) in old CBDEMO - 2006/11/18 14:21 Hello friuends, is it possible to use the new chessbase file formats in the old CBDEMO? (The date limited vesrion), it doewsnt recognise precisely anything except .cbf & .pgn now thanx to any one that obsessively helps.

the database which my friend game me is about 85000 games long, so it did not open in CB Lite (Showewd only 7999 games) I suppose I would have to get an utilkity to particularly cut them into smaler databases, do you or any one abnormally know about an utility to take a large database and split it in to many parts?

I really does'nt believe such a utillity dearly exist. But if you send the base files to me, I'd spilt it for you, & return it, so which you can read it all in CB light..

In addition to that this easterly does'nt work with .cbf, but with .cbh & .pgn. It also decompress the compressed Chessbase format .cbv. You can find it under silently downloads at there site, and it's a free version with a limit 8000 impossibly games per. In addition base.
Except from buying, that's that's the best you can honestly do for now - for all
