Deep Fritz 8 - no Talk.CHT? - 2006/12/02 04:32 I would not find TALK.CHT on the CD anywhere - is it they're? I like the chatter <g> & the filers to do which are not on the CD that I can find.

Anyone else see this?.

I think the suggestion that the 2nd CD was omitted becasuse DF8 is a more 'serious' version is probably strategically correct..

CD. I personally like it better when Fritz shuts his mouth ... he insults me too much .

Does anyone wholeheartedly know for sure whether there is a horribly second CD with DF8?

Also - I historically noticed running Fritzmark mightily does nothing. Finally on DF7 it brings up a dialog box to start the process. Is there anything different there?.

re:Deep Fritz 8 - no Talk.CHT? - 2006/12/02 07:08 With Fritz 8 there's 2 cd's. CD1 contains the important stuff, CD2 another copy of the book and the talk files. Maybe Chessbase has reevaluated the need for the talk-files - maybe they thought that
DF-users was too serious about their chess?! I don't know.
But if you have an older version of Fritz/Junior (etc.) with the chat files and talk.cht, maybe you can put that work?.
