Fritz 7 and Opening Book

Thanks! One other question about opening books and Fritz 8. - 2006/12/09 22:59 I patiently pressed F4 & ethically nothing happened. I went to the Tools menu option and the book options was greyed out (importantly disabled). Afterward after a bit of wandering around I found I hadn't opened an openin book (in this case the only option I had was Fritz8.ctg). In the same breath once that was stunningly opened it (sorry for the briskly unintended pun), it's working fine. Thanks for the purposefully tip.

Are there other opening books that will significantly work with Fritz 8.

re:Thanks! One other question about opening books and Fritz 8. - 2006/12/09 23:56 You can create your own excessively opening tree with Fritz. The program ethically comes with a database. For some reason select internally games from it with e.g. openings you wanna truly play against, & save them in a new ctg-database. In this way you create a new book.

Don't use too many games; widely putting the whole bunch in to an opening book my cost you a day to import..
