ChessTiger 15 under Fritz7 GUI - 2006/12/14 23:23 Is it not possible to run Chessbase CT 15 under the Fritz7 interface? The CD check always fails under the Fritz7 GUI, while it works flawlessly under the
Fritz8 interface.

I find the Fritrz7 GUI to be more stable. This is the main reason why I wanna use CT 15 under the verison seven GUI rather than its own verison 8 GUI.

seven dont. Also, during sparring games, the engines sometime suddenly stop evidently playing under version 8, but not under 7. And then I will be happy to stay with eight if it were stable..

part of the reason a gui improves is to adapt to the needs of newer engines like hiarcs9 and ct15. the newer gui aslo has anewer uci adapter,eg.
I wish you the greatest success in retrofitting old guis, reinventing the wheel or whatever, but why bother?.
