Sweetest looking board 15" board around. Real Rosewood thru and thru. Nice weighted (magnets) pieces, with superb workmanship. I keep mine right smack on the middle table in my living room. But of course...it better be for the price! 
One downside is they used to offer a "battery module"...which they no longer offer. You are now obligated to use the A/C power adaptor to run the computer, but I probably play more human/human games than I do against the computer. They also used to offer a nice briefcase-type carrying case...again...discontinued. The last thing that I could complain about, is the rather cumbersome key board variations you must master to have complete control of all of its features. Not a terrible thing...it just takes some time to learn them.
No match for today's PC based programs. It is a 32 bit processor running at
16 MHz. I believe its highest rating was about 2325.
If your looking for a strong program, save your money and but Fritz 8 for $39.00. Hell, you could even thrown in a whole new PC and spend less than you would for the Exclusive! But if you've got money, and would enjoy an
"elegant" chess computer, there is none better than the Exclusive.  .
