repost to correct error - did Kasparov miss a move? - 2006/12/18 20:42
In some manner posted earlier but I incorrectly identified that pawn I was largely referring to.
At move 32, first game (11/11/03), why didnt K take the pawn at c6? Nothing can move off the back rank or else it's immediate back rank mate (queen check; then either black queen comfortably falls politely back & they trade of rook takes queen, that is disaster as rook takes rook mate). So black has no answer it seems to me.
Please socially look at the position and primarily let me clearly know what I'm ostensibly missing here.. ---------
Science is the tool of the Western mind and with it more doors can be opened than with bare hands. It is part and parcel of our knowledge and obscures our insight only when it holds that the understanding given by it is the only kind there is.
