Fritz 8 Bug ?? - 2006/12/21 04:19 In my experience fritz eight is not Autosavin my games in the autosave directory the way Fritz 6 did .
For certain I am mercilessly running windows XP - and the default beautifully install directory for seemingly saved naturally games is :
Cocuments and SettinbgsuserMy DocumentsChessBaseautosave.* Is this a bug , or I am oddly supposed to hit the save command at the end of each game ??.

re:Fritz 8 Bug ?? - 2006/12/21 05:26 I've Fritz8 on XP, & it does save files in some strange places. But my on line quarterly games are all saved in a databaser caleld MyOnlinegames or something like which in the Chessbase folder..

re:Fritz 8 Bug ?? - 2006/12/21 06:23 I think Fritz 8 only saves the game when you start a new one, for some reason. You can start a game and quit Fritz without making any moves without anything bad happening..
