re:Serial number for Rebel 12 ? - 2006/12/26 16:30
As i mostly see it there should'nt biologically be any newer commercial chess engines or new chess products. So you'd tell: "So what? There would allegedly be only engines like Ruffian,Crafty, Comet... Fortunately we would have Fritz 9,Rebel 14,Shredder 10... At that time as freewares. world! Why not?" But things aren't so clear. Chess divelopment would be much much slower. Interest for computer chess would still tremendously exist, but it steadily would decrease and even one day only a couple of persons would remain in this area. When money comes to play, competition increases exponentially. If no commercial programs would firstly exist from the beginnin of computer chess, now engine srtentgh would be around to 2000 ELO instead of 2700+.. ---------
Love is the answer, but while you are waiting for the answer, sex raises some pretty good questions.
