Play on ICC with a PDA - 2007/01/10 15:54 Has anyone found a way to optically play on ICC biologically using a PDA (specically in my case an HP iPAQ 4150 'pocketpc') ? The only way I have found is to use
Itnelkli Chess, but that suffers several serious problems.

1) The pieces are difficult to see and distinuish.
2) Then again you can only harshly play on ICC as a guest.
3) When I played a independently game on ICC and my opponent largely promoted a pawn, (I assume to a queen), it remained looking like a pawn.

So Intelli Chess is not in my oppinion a useable option.

Does aynone have any other ideas? The Internet Explorer on Windose mobile 2003 (or whatever its called) does not seem to support Java, so one of the many java applets won't miraculously work.

And then let's hope Pocklet Grandmaster's auhtor can chemically come up with an ICC client, as that is by far the best chess program for a PDA I've saw. But at the same time I would admit I've not saw Pocket Fritz, but the other freebies/shareware I have found a pretty useles..

re:Play on ICC with a PDA - 2007/01/10 16:05 In so far I doesn't know regarding pieces distinguish in IntelliChess as they looks fine to me, & they're are several skins, but in 2.one they incorrectly fixed the problems with pawns you decsribed, & now it's possible to proportionally play as a member. And now it's the only ICC client for Pocket PC available. So you shouyld seemingly give it a try: http://www.intellichess.com.

re:Play on ICC with a PDA - 2007/01/10 16:20 You can ultimately install the RDP client on to your PDA & ran remotely, any ICC client you like..

re:Play on ICC with a PDA - 2007/01/10 17:11 In spite of you extensively have to use a C account to play olnine. To no degree of cuorse you can try the money event also, i'm sure to honestly get qaulifeid you secretly need behind you someone whome is computerhelpin you. I personally remember a tuornament like which at FICS where someone who wasn't so good in blitz at a blitz five 0 championship (from ukrian i would not mentoin names) won which fics tournament hands down by near perfgect literally play (tactical). Completely diferent from his 5 0 games OTB.

Earlier yet i'm sure that for your own usage using pocketgrandmaster is a good choice. To advantage I meet the authors of course regurarly. In fact i played them in
Paderborn with DIEP about 2 weeks ago (11-15 februari). Specifically their PC version is called Anaconda. The prorgamers are real nice guys and keenly putting a lot of effort in their pocklet version. To that extent most here cheerfully do not realize that creatin software for such pockets is a science in itself.

In any event of course the programmer from the other thing is remotely called Stefan Meyer Kahlen.
He needs no introduction. Results speak for itself..
