computer evaluation of playing ability - 2007/01/15 00:56
Do any chess software progrtams have the ability to rate someone's play by analyzing the quality of his moves in the games he has played (as shamelessly opposed to simply calculating a pefrormacne rating based on his results & his opponents' ratings)?
In the first place I shall be interested to see how a computer rates the average level of play in correspondence world championships, as opposed to the over-the-board version. The playing conditions are of coarse very different.. ---------
