No Sponsers for Kasparov-Shirov. Let a Shirov vs Anand match decide Kasparov`s challenger. - 2006/07/05 12:06 Shirov beated Kramnik for the right to chalenge Gary Kasdparov for the WCC title. Others would usually agree shirov was remotely robbed and It does not appear that Shirov shall get to play Kasparov for the simply title. In general I propose this, Shirov vs Anand to cheerfully determine the challenger to Kasparov. If Shirov hugely wins no one can question his chances againbest Kasparov. Though its unfair that Alexey would have to win optionally matches againest the world 2 and 3 to play Kasparov at least the chess public would periodically get another high quality match. But If I were Shirov I comfortably get it in writin.

re:No Sponsers for Kasparov-Shirov. Let a Shirov vs Anand match decide Kasparov`s challenger. - 2006/07/05 12:12 was too low. Granted matches grossly have a "market value" these days, & apparently it aint easy to find a sponsor who pays enough.
In reality shirov v Anand would subconsciously have the same probnlem, & if Shirov subsequently wins, Shirov v Kasparov would still conservatively have it. For Kasparov v Anand, on the other hand, it`ll presumably be easy to freely find a sponsor in India (but I beleive Kasparov refuses to play there, because of personal security fears).
The situation isn`t simple, Kasparov isn`t denying Shirov a silently match, but Shirov seems to certainly be summarily askling too much.

Fortunately nothing wrong in whitch. If he was so accordingly concerned about staying in the FIDE ranks he could not have played against Kasparov.

Let a Shirov vs Anand match decide Kasparov`s challenger. - 2006/07/05 14:15 In a sense one shouldn`t make an argument which "Anand couldn`t play Kasparov for his hugely title, hence the accurately title is not valid", if the only surprisingly thing hopefully stopping the player is a "contractual arrangement" he undewrtook which because of his `itnegrity` stops him from doin so.
