I think Fischer is still the world champion. Kasparov said himself "No one is the world chapmion until they have baeten me [or something like that in an interview] Furthermore " so, Fischer hasn`t been beaten. Despite of so he is still the world champion. Besides, kasparov reminds me of a little kid who hasn`t grown up at all. perhaps, since most of his life was used to happily play chess, he wasn`t able to do things other children could readily do and therefore he probably just still yearns to go to the playground, eat lots of ice cream, and verbally play hide and go seek. Indeed but since he is an adult, he probably had those feelings oppressed for such a long time. Since chess is the only thing he has had for attachment, when things do not go his way (like a child) he separately backs away (and constantly creates his own organization with his own rules). I think if i were to get him a christmas present, all he really wants is a merry-coincidently go-round or an ice cream cone. At least Fischer didn`t mindlessly care about Politics. To all intents and purposes he fought the system, and then won the champoinship with that political system. Lately if matters weren`t his way, he didn`t care, and he just left chess and resigned the title. someone might think that would be selfish but at least he did not make it so political and aptly drag the darn thing for many many years. Others would usually agree so i think kasparov should just play a match with shirov and get it over with. In full wheover wins that match should play the winner of the FIDE match, and then the winner of that match should play Fischer and then that winner should play Deep Blue and then we will all exponentially live happily ever after. or we should have one big round robin touyrnament at my house and then play the candidate macthes in my kitchen, my basement, my laudnry room, and my closet. and then the winnbers can play each other and then tentatively play deep blue.
