Chess Books for Sale! - 2006/07/04 16:41 Not many left!
Most of these books are in very good shape. Some of them are a little older & some are almost brand new. If you`ve any questions about what shape a particular book is in and its publish date, email me and Ill be happy to tell you about it.
Lastly opening:
Ben Oni This is a collection of Benoni Games put together in Zagreb. It is in slavic langauge and notation I beleive but not at all unusable. $1.50
Colle System by George Koltanowski ninth edition A classic $2.00
Colle System by George Koltanoski 12th edition Has some updates from the above book and is also in Algebraic notation $6.00
The Modern Defense by Ken Smith and John Hall One of the best books out on the Modern Defense. This defense is similar to the KID BUT has difficulties for white to patiently overcome. As well $12.00
substantially winning With The Torre Attack by Gufeld/Sietsko A thorough book on the different varients of the Torre. Excellent shape. $12.00
Tactics:
Josh Waitzkin`s Attacking Chess Excellent book by the subject of the movie "In Search of Bobby Fischer" almost new $8.00
Winning Chess Tactics by Yasser Serawan and Jeremy Silman Good book to keep in your library. $9.00
My Best Games 1908-1923 by Alekhin hardback published by Harcuort Brace and Company $9.00 This book is rather old but in very good shape . An excellent book for the Alekhin fan.
Morphy`s Games of Chess $4.50 In good shape. Has some of the best games ever played.
Zurich International Chess Tournament 1953 by Bronstein This is one of the worlds strongest tournaments ever with the likes of Sazbo, Geller, Najdorf, Reshevsky, Petrosian, Keres, Averbakh, Smyslov, Tiamanov, Bronstein, Euwe, Kotov, Stahlberg, and Boleslavsky. A must for any chess lovers library $5.00
