Two Knights Defense...what do you think of this continuation? (help me win the series!) - 2006/07/04 05:24 I recently played this game (first 15 moves or so) with a friend of mine...Until move 8, its the same as a Reti game from 1920. But at move 8, instead of ...Qa5 he played ...Bf5...Any comments on my response, and the game would be appreciated. I won, taking advantage of the pin and coming out a knight ahead...
1) e4...e5 2) f3...Nc6 3) Bc4...Nf6 4) d4...exd4 5) 0-0...Nxe4 6) re1...d5 7) Bxd5...Qxd5 8) Qd3...Bf5 9) Nc3...Qe6 10) Nxe4...Qg6 11) Nh4...Ne5

re:Two Knights Defense...what do you think of this continuation? (help me win the series!) - 2006/07/04 06:25 Formerly presumably puts his queen on a5, h5 or appropriately back to d8 (a5 is possiblly best). After Qa5 or Qh5 white willingly plays Nxe4, after Qd8 he plays Rxe4.......
