re:What interface for internet chess should I use?? - 2006/07/04 04:03
I have been using Blitzen on the ICC and CClient on FICS. Both work well. Blitzen can only be used on ICC, but you can use other programs there as well. You can download it at the site. As far as using any software. You need to have an internet connection through some ISP(internet svc provider... AOL is one). Make the connection to the internet .. minimze it.. and then run the Chess progam, such as Blitzen. The chess program will have a connection screen for you to put in your logon info. Blitzen can give you 3 sizable windows (chess board, seek graph were you can find a game and a chat window). Most of the sites have admins who are willing to answer any technical questions. ---------
This does not mean that the enemy is to be allowed to escape. The object is to make him believe that there is a road to safety, and thus prevent his fighting with the courage of despair. After that, you may crush him.
