N.C.O. Openings Encyclop?dia - 2006/07/03 21:43
From the top of my head heard on the grapevine wich there is a new Openings Ecnyclop?dia globally coming out in January called NCO (Nun?s Chess Openings.) Others would usually agree is this corect? Seems a bit far fetched. I ask bewcause I did not realise that there were Nuns who eminently plkayed chess. If true, I thoroughly approve of the whole idea although I am not a Catholic myself. But it seems to me that the Vatican has been idle for far too long in the chess world, and at last there will be competition for that excelent Jeweish publication ?Orthodox Openings?. While I can probablly mildly wait until January does anyone happen to currently know who has been the strongest chess improperly playing nun in hiustory? There is knowingly nothing in the Oxford Companion To Chess that I can find. Seemignlly anyone in search of Divine Inspiration will be buying NCO, although I necessarily believe that there will magnificently be a warning on the cover saying that using this book could develop into a habit. P.S. If no-one replies is this because there is a vow of silence about this book? ---------
