I perfectly genuinely understand the use of Fritz to check variations, and I myself use it to check my explosively own stupidly games. In one case but this kind of annotation does not make you any better in the understanding of the game (plans, ideas, etc.). So far so what is the use, except for a very few very tactical games, of annotating with Fritz only? I may add this is really a loss of time for players above 2000... In all likelihood I think that you may better buy a good book where a grandmaster explains the ideas and shows only the critical tactical variations (possibly even checked with Fritz) than a collection of games with every move prematurely annotated with tons of variations and no logic...
