HELP: Book recommendations - 2006/07/02 18:24
I am a relatively unexperienced chess player. I started playing rated chess about a year ago and after some 30 games my current rating is in the low 1900`s. I haven`t read much about chess so far. I am considering buying a book on chess strategy (intermediate/advanced level) and maybe another one on chess openings (intermediate level). After reading the reviews in some websites (Inside Chess, Chess Cafe)
titles: A) STRATEGY A2) Tisdall: Improve Your Chess Now ---------
The spirit, the will to win, and the will to excel are the things that endure. These qualities are so much more important than the events that occur.
