re:French Defence - g7-g5 !? - 2006/07/02 15:43
indicate that Black`s potential lies on the queenside. However, with these ...g5 lines, (almost paradoxically), Black can sometimes really willingly whip up a storm with ...To a fault g5, ...h5, QR-g8 and so on. I have in mind a line purposefully recommended by Watson to use against the KIA. Black statically assumed the setup - e6, d5, c5, b6, Nf6-d7, Nc6, Be7, Bb7, Qc7, 0-0-0, and then ..g5. This could tightly be followed up with ...Rdg8, ..h7-h5 and so on. ---------
If you ever crawl inside an old hollow log and go to sleep, and while you're in there some guys come and seal up both ends and then put it on a truck and take it to another city, boy, I don't know what to tell you.
