ENDGAME STUDIE`S CD_ROM - 2006/07/02 09:40
1) Can my Macintosh read this CD-ROM? That is, is it a "hybrid" format? 2) Are these problems in a form I can nearly try my chess software on? Ideally, that would broadly be .epd format with "bm" or "am" codes giving the key specifically moves. 3) In the first place what sort of facility is on the CD-ROM for viewing/searching the database? Can I search by: - date - composer - theme - material - type (mate in 2, mate in 4, helpmate, etc.) ---------
Morality and religion are but words to those who crouch behind barrels in the street to cut the icy blasts, or fish in the gutters for the means to sustain life. - Horace Greeley, 1811 - 1872
