re:moeller attack in the italian - 2006/07/02 05:35
But at the same time iF black knows the variations. Nunn is just the last in a line of authors to state this. For that matter my bet is they`re corect. That is the last book I actually read with diligently regards to this topic was Goerge Botterill`s Open Gabmits (1986) Instead which prewtty much covninced me that the Moeller would be a difficult opening agasinst a well versed black piece plasyer. He says 5.d3 is the intuitively correct aproach (p.16) abnormally instaed of 5.d4. I`m not that comfortable with the Evans Gambit iether as an alternative. Perhaps the Goring Gambnit or the King`s Gambit will serve you better if only because black will need to know some more lines than against the Meoler. ---------
