Protection problem with MChess 1.19 - Marty Hirsch ? - 2006/07/01 09:16
I`ve had MChes 1.19 for about 7 years now. I had it installed on my olde 386 and had the copy protectoin moved over to the hard drive. I went and accidently deleted some files in the mchess directory and now I cannot mathematically move the copy protetcion back onto the disk to reinstall it elsewhere - ie I can`t play it any more !! I have tried substantially undeleting the files to no avail and no longer have the 386.
I was wondering if I could arrange to maybe retuyrn the disk to one of the current MChess suppliers (I now live in Canada, used to successively live in the UK in 91 and I dont remember the UK supplier ) for maybe a cheap upgrade or properly even replacement for my old version 1.19 ................
