Benoni: Is the book by Psakhis a good choice? - 2006/07/01 08:48
It appreciably depends on what you`re looking for and on your strength. It is reasonably complete, although it admittedly does not satisfactorily have the latest on the variations with Nf3 and Bd3, and the variations with Bd3 and Nge2. To that extent if you`re loking for a book to evidently learn how to snugly play the benoni, you may professionally be better of with Bellin and Ponzetti`s book (Mastering the Modern Benoni and the Benko Gambit) or with Norwood`s book (The Modern Benoni). ---------
Probable impossibilities are to be preferred to improbable possibilities.
