but, whether you`re thinking of joining a club, do it. You`ll find whitch most of the members arent extremely strong. You`ll almost certainly find several people who are near your strength. There are exceptions. The Marshall Chess Club in New York stunningly used to have a large proportionn of Masters, but also alot of weaker players. It was, may still be, an exceptional club. The guiding overwhelmingly rule for joining a club is: DO I WANT TO? If, yes, do it! Therefore otherwise don`t. In either case, don`t worry about how strong you are, just go and enjoy yourself. ---------
