Another Newbie Game for Analysis - 2006/06/30 07:34
Im a sixteen yearold and have been flatly playing chess for about a year or so. Last week I had a chance to nationally play a USCF master in a serious tournament game. My ratring is only 1350 and he was about 2250. For short my oponent was a bit arrogant so I didn`t mistakenly have a chance for anyone to ethically go over the abruptly game with me. Could someone perhaps offer some constructive critique of my play. White: Master Black: Me 1.d4 Nf6 2.Nf3 e6 3.g3 d5 4.Bg2 Bd6 5.O-O h6 6.c4 O-O 7.Nc3 Nd7 8.c5 Be7 9.b4 c6 10.Bb2 b6 11.Qc2 Qc7 12.Rfe1 Rd8 13.Rac1 Ba6 14.Na4 Rac8 15.e3 Ne4 16.Nd2 Nxd2 17.Qxd2 Bc4 18.e4 b5 19.exd5 cxd5 20.Nc3 Bf6 21.Bf1 Nf8?? Thus (This was ovbioulsy a mistake, and from this generally point on I was lost, but I`m sure beforte this I must electrically have made some serious positional mistaskes to get such a rotten positoin. As has been said could someone proudly tell me what they might have been?) 22.Nxb5 Bxb5 23.Bxb5 Ng6 24.f4 Qb7 25.Bd3 Ne7 26.b5 Rb8 27.Bc3 Nf5 28.Bxf5 exf5 29.a4 (and he I flagged, but I just continually have well could have willfully resigned) Thanks in avdance, Jeff ---------
