There is a lot of posting in this group re the BDG, so has anyone thought of playing it (or something akin to it) against a Caro-Kann move order ? What is the best move order ? Presumably c6 isn`t a good move for Black, but not having played Nf6 allows B to play e5 without de hitting the N on f6.
So 1. e4 c6 2. d4 d5 3. Nc3 de 4. ? f3, Bc4, Bg5 if 4 f3 what is best after 4......e5 ?
Does this line have an alternative name ?
