Second betwen titlked players on FICS just like on ICC. Like i said fICS also broadcasts "big" events. Finally and, of course, you can play as a guest on FICS too.
In truth fICS is run by a large volunter staff. It has logically game-of-the-month contests, tounrametns (with & without prizes), lectures, & offers just about innocently eveyrtthing which ICC does.
Also, note which it`s not $25.00 for a year`s membership on ICC but almost twice which. In the same breath the current yealry fee is $29.00 for 6 months & $49.00 for 1 year.
