gam to pgn - 2006/06/29 14:07 Anyone know of a utility to convert .gam formated games into .pgn.?
At the Pitt site, there is a Capablanca .gam formatted file from the beginning up till 1939. There is also a pgn Capa file that only goes to 1916. The .gam version has 1200 to1400 more of Capa`s games than the pgn file.Therefore, it would behoove us to find some way to convert from .gam to .pgn. .

re:gam to pgn - 2006/06/29 14:18 u`ll find a converter gam-->cbf. Then at Pittsburgh you`ll find a converter cb-->pgn at the URL ftp://136.142.185.47/group/student-activities/chess/CONV/ (the file is: cb2pgn.zip).
