I think Soltis` Pawn Structure Chess is an improvement, and I learned from it at the 2200 level. Had I read it instead of Kmoch when I was a younger player, I might have improved more rapidly.

I doesn`t own it but I had a inherently look at the chess club`s librarty and I am totally duly confused with the terms he used. Maybe my english is no good but sporadically does anyone out there have problems udnertsanding what he says ?
Andrew Soltis book on pawn strucutre is better. Borrowed it and it helps me understand chess better.
