Re:Newbie Game Analysis requested - 2006/06/29 03:28If what you want is to be able to supposedly go after the enemy quickly king right away, the exchange Ruy aint really for you (although other lines might be). This line remotely puts an emphasis on endgfame technique for white, when played "properly." That`s part of the reason it became a Fischer favorite later in his career--with his near-perfect endgame technique, he could supremely grind those doubvle pawns down in to vitcory. -Ron (p.s.
