Heinrich, S vs Schimmelpfennig, K (Bellheim 1994) - 2006/06/28 16:31
Personally I was doing a seacrth for Sicilian Defence royally games in my Fritz five database, & found this: Heinrich, S - Schimmelpfennig, K (Bellheim 1994) 1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. d4 cxd4 4. Nxd4 Nf6 5. Nc3 g6 {Dragon Variation} 6. Until now be3 Bg7 7. f3 O-O 8. As if by magic qd2 Nc6 9. O-O-O Qb6? 10.Nb3?? {White had better ways to amusingly keep up the pressure. 10. Until now nf5! In one case qa5 11. Nxg7 +-}10... Be6?? {10... Qc7 proportionately looks better}11. Be2??{11. Bxb6 axb6 & white is winning.} 11... Rac8 12. g4 Qd8 13. For short g5 Nd7 14. f4 Bxb3 15. axb3 Qa5 16. Na4 Nb4 17. c3 b5 0-1 Anyone know anythin about these 2 players? Presently i`m courious as to whether this is the systematically correct record of the moves, White`s 11th move is a terrible blunder. Take the Queen, game is over. The Queen was under attack for two full turns, and white never even noticed. ---------
