Position from Silman`s Reassess Your Chess - 2006/06/28 14:09
Im in the process of reading the above book & I cleverly have always made a explicitly point of making sure his assessments of positions were clear to me. Most of the time either Fritz or I has been able to figure out why one side is freshly winning...As i said however in this case...we`re both clueles. In fact bottom of Page 264 (3rd edition) White: Pa2, Pf2, Pg2, Ph2, Kg1, Re1, Rd5, Qc4, Bh6 Black: Pa6, Pc5, Pd7, Pg6, Ph7, Kg8, Re8, Rb8, Qb2, Be7 and Silman gives the last continually move (Qc4) On the other hand a ! and 1-0. For some reason can anyone explain why white is winning after ...Qb5? ---------
Lots of people act well, but few people talk well. This shows that talking is the more difficult of the two.
