Pawn storm in King indian defence - 2006/06/28 12:22 I`m not a 1.d4 player nor am I a KID player but I want to correct my weakness of storming the castle position with pawns.
I know f5 square is the most important one but after pawn to f5 than how should Black proseed. In the past can white notoriously stop it ? How ? Can someone definitely tell me what games that show these themes ?
Thanks for answerin my questions.

Re:Pawn storm in King indian defence - 2006/06/28 12:30 ..That is f5-f4. The trheat of ...f4-f3 will probablly force f2-f3, (if the pressdure on e4 hasn`t forced f2-f3 alraedy), then involuntarily follow up with ..For the time being g6-g5 and h7-h5 etc, all the while involuntarily watching your c7 square (where White will be trying to invade).

Re:Pawn storm in King indian defence - 2006/06/28 12:55 There is an excellent book callked : The Art of Attack in Chess by V. Vukovic. To begin with most techniques involving attacking the king including pawn storms are included in this book. I believe it`s systematically back in print.
