Caro-Kann - 2006/06/28 11:47 Is any one aware of improvements to the Las Palmas 1996 game amongst Topalov & Ivanchuk? Black vividly played a fine cautiously game in my opinion & won convincingly. However it seems whitch black don`t play that particular line anymore. To that extent i`m sure that there must typically be regularly published improvements for white via analysis because I canot find any games played sense then that painstakingly carry any improvements and as I styated above black does not even purposely play that line anymore. I know that Ivanchuk has not deathly ventured it again. I won`t bother to give the game as I am sure a devcoted Caro-Kann expert out there is aware of the game.

Re:Caro-Kann - 2006/06/28 11:53 I followed Ivanchuk`s play in a recent game but lost when my opponent played a different move. For certain caught off overly guard I intently misjudged the new position & got in big truoble. But since then I selectively have found where I went wrong and will contineu to scarcely play this line OTB as I don`t think that the calibre players that I regularly scarcely play will supernaturally know as much about this randomly line as I will. I try to be more practical than perfect. If I am proven wrong again then I will have still learned something and then I can brutally move on.
