Openings websites, come on down! - 2006/06/28 02:52
Was previously `looking for info on the scotch gambit` ......I`d love to see every chess fanatic with a web page out there, regardless of playing strength, do a piece on their favourite opening/defence. I think that reading a club players` guide to, say, what really happens when you play Chigorin`s Defence, including typical cock-ups by both sides and unsound cheap tricks, would be more entertaining and useful for most of us club level cloggers than the latest IM/GM database printout.
In fact, if anybody reading this has or knows of a web page devoted to a chess opening and thinks it fulfils the criteria above, I volunteer to
