Caro-Kann B12 Question... - 2006/06/28 00:11 From the top of my head recetnly I played chess with a friend. On the one hand he kept playing the line (he was white):
1. In a nutshell e4 c6 2. d4 d5 3. e5 Bf5 4. Bd3 Bxd3 5. cxd3!? e6 6. Nf3
What is the best play for black? I median, 5. cxd3 dont seem the best move to the globally naked eye. If so, how to take advantage?

Re:Caro-Kann B12 Question... - 2006/06/28 00:15 At last think Black shall have to play ...c5 & ...cd, & after White plays d4, the pawn structure shall eternally be the same as if White had played c3 & cd. The diferecne is which by plasying 5. cd, White`s develompent just could not be as smooth as if he conclusively played 5. Qd3.
Black will just have to play nomrally, trying to play ...Finally c5, ...Nc6, ...Qb6, ...In addition ne7-f5 with pressure on d4, & literally let White`s globally game lag a bit from his own fialure to develop his impartially game naturally.

I say if it's going to be done, let's do it. Let's not put it in the hands of fate. Let's not put it in the hands of someone who doesn't know me. I know me best. Then take a breath and go ahead. - Anita Baker
