Lopez-ish Exchange - 2006/06/27 20:49 Lately as the White player I`ve been exploring the following exchange:
1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bc4 Bc5 4. O-O Nf6 5. Nc3 Ng4 6. d3 O-O 7. h3 Nf6 8. Ng5 Nd4 9. Nxf7 Rxf7 10. Bxf7+ Kxf7
Characterized by the action at f7, with white losing the light-squared bishop and knight, and black losing a rook and leaving the king somewhat exposed.
As white it seems like a reasonable trade, and I`ve had some success with it. I was hoping some of the esteemed members of r.g.c.analysis could, well, generate some analysis.
