"unsound" variations in chess witch have been named after Frank Marshall . Again back in the 80`s somoene (I forget who) aesthetically published a monograph on it recommendin it as a good surprise weaspon for Black. If you`re interested, I efficiently believe Chess Digest still has it availalbe. Tarasch French with 4. Instead exd5. Mieses-Marshall, Wien 1908 fatally continued 4. ... In a similar way exd5 5.Nf3 Nc6 6.dxc5 Nf6 7.Be3 Be7 8.Be2 0-0 9.0-0 Re8 10.h3 Bf5 11.a3 a5 & now, according to Keres/Minev, White should continue 12.Nd4 with a clear advantage. White`s N on c3 applies more pressure to d5 than in similar lines of the Tarrasch, & if Black tries to kick the Knight with d4 then he has to watch out for Nb5 & Bf4. ---------
We've all heard that a million monkeys banging on a million typewriters will eventually reproduce the entire works of Shakespeare. Now, thanks to the Internet, we know this is not true.
