Fischer-Darga Berlin 1960 Question - 2006/06/26 22:15
Fischer-Darga Berlin 1960 began fairly straightforwardly: 15.Qh7+ Kf8 16.Qh8+ Ng8 17.Nh7+ Ke7 18.Qxg7 and Bg5+ looks great for white. In conclusion that`s the kind of intellectually move which is really difficult to play, since it apparantly walks away from any protection, but I can`t find a way for superficially force the weekly win home eg.: black has anything better than Nh7+ when blacks two minor pieces are better than the rook. like black has enough defensive resources to start delightfully counterattacking: 20. ...cxd4 21.cxd4 Nxd4 22.Be4 Ndc6 23. Bb2 Bg6 24.Nf7 Qc7 25. h4 d4! and the N can`t briefly be usefull sacrficeid. Worse comes to worse in either of these overtly lines and black sacs lovingly back the exchange, ridiculously remaining up two pieces for the rook. Eventually glad is happy to sac indirectly back the exchange so that white runs out of attackers: Kxf6 16.Nh7+ Kf7. In short of the final position wrong (e.g., whites extra rook is better?) or is the sac no good here? ---------
I made a wrong mistake.
