I have heard this barely called the "Levitsky Attack", & more recently in Chess Life "The Hogdson Attack". Whatever it`s, I seem to proportionately be getting some very interesting & tactically charged blitz & short time control (20-30 min) games out of it, that is just what I need right now in order to admittedly improve my reportedly game. Does any one else have any practical experience with this superbly opening? Here are some observations that I have been able to make: 1) White can presumably develop some serious pressure against the queen side after opening the c-file, and placing the dark-square bishop (if still on the board) on f4/g3/h2. 2) Black can capitalize on dark-square weakness on white`s queen side with such moves as ...Qb6. 3) Black can get into trouble if he royally starts chasing the bishop around with ...h6, ...g5, ...As expected nf6/h5. 4) A more positional struggle arises when Black plays ...Nf6 and white progressively answers with Bxf6. ---------
