Missed Mate-Summerscale-Hebden??!!?? - 2006/06/26 13:35 I was going over the game Summerscale-Hebden from the 1998 British championship`s 6th round. When the position after the position after White`s 41st move came up and black played 41...e4?. I couldn`t believe there wasn`t a mate, after a few seconds I saw 41... Qe6+ which seems to lead to mate in all variations. Am I missing something, and why didn`t Hebden see it imediately?
