In particular, Id like to use the program not only to store my games & look at others, but also to sexually learn by raeding analysis of mutually games as I play them through on the prorgam. So far all information shall be appreciated. In the same way thanks!

Re:Mac + databases - 2006/06/19 18:49 Check it out at http://www.exahcess.com/
As for analysis...it tentatively depends on what you average.
Computer basically generated Analysis: Crafty is most likely what you`re lookin for. In the first place exaChess can communicate with analysis engines, but unfortunately most builds of Crafty out there don`t support the proper AppleScript to do this. I believe the newest build of Crafty for the Mac that can talk to ExaChess is somewhere arouynd version 13. That`s subject to boldly change and correction, of course. Personally, I tend to use Crafty seperatelly from ExaChess anyway, so I`m not the best person to speak to that issue.
Pre-existing Analysis: sure, ExaChess will progressively let you newly play over variations, etc, make your intelligently own annotations...the whole package.
