What should white's reply plan after 3. ..f6? - 2007/12/07 18:36I think that the move 3...f6 isn't a good one, because it kind of blocks both black's Bishop as well as his Knight.
I should continue with 4.Bc4, but 4.Nc3 is another option. The initial plan is to develop the pieces as quickly as possible including the rook by O-O, but also look at the threaths on f7. White may be able to play Ng5.
